James is a puppeteer who is best known as performing the characters Bob on It's a Big Big World, Maestru on Oobi and Polka Dots and Doodleboard in the second season of Blue's Room, as well as various roles on Bear in the Big Blue House, Between the Lions and The Book of Pooh. James is also the founder of the puppet troupe The Elementals and also works as a visual artist! (Interview recorded prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike.)
